The North Dublin National School Project is a child centered, co-educational, multi-denominational, democratically run school, located on the northside of Dublin.
The NDNSP currently has 228 children enrolled in the school; one class of each from Junior Infants to 6th Class.
The NDNSP is a multi-denominational school, which follows a core religious and ethical education curriculum specially devised by multi-denominational schools for their own use.
There are four key tenets to the NDNSP charter:
That the school be:
- Multi-denominational – i.e. all children have rights of access to the school, and children of all social, cultural and religious backgrounds are equally respected.
- Co-educational and committed to encouraging all children to explore their full range of abilities and opportunities.
- Child centred in their approach to education
- Democratically run – with active participation by parents in the daily life of the school, while positively affirming the professional role of the teacher.
