Friendship Squad

Friendship Squad was set up by Sarah one of our teachers three years ago. It’s aim is to make sure every child has a friend of their age to play with during yard time. Since being set up every year 6th class are trained by Sarah to go out to the junior yard and assist in forming bonds between the younger children (junior infants – 2nd class). Friendship squad happens every big yard at 12 o’clock when 3-5 6th class children organise games to play in the junior yard such as: giant polydron, giant connect four, football, basketball, hide and seek, chasing and loads more. They are recognised easily because they dress in hi-viability jackets. If you don’t already come and play with us on the big yard tomorrow, we can’t wait to see you.
